Today I am writing here to describe a very useful tweak to help you get the max out of your ARM box. My tipical setup is composed of a bunch of NSLU2, famous LINKSYS product, coupled to a very efficient raid-5 sotrage box known as "YELLOWMACHINE". Those boxes are really outperforming, running debian from sarge to lenny, 24/7, silent, and lowest-power consumption compared to classic solutions based on ATX PCs.
The sole main noticeable issue is their sluggish transfer speed. But I figured out how to get rid of this, reaching a ZEN in ARM computing. Keep reading.
